Beqa Lagoon Shark Dive — Two Tanks, Up to Eight Species
Dive Beqa Lagoon with Beqa Adventure Divers. Two tanks, up to eight shark species, capped at 20 divers. FJ$500 adult. Open Water certification required.
About this experience
Beqa Lagoon is one of the very few places on earth where you can kneel on a sand bottom and watch bull sharks glide past at arm's length, with a safety diver at your shoulder the whole time. Beqa Adventure Divers run this as two dives inside the Shark Reef Marine Reserve, Fiji's first national marine park — which they helped create, and which your levy helps pay for. The first dive drops to 30 metres and works up through the feeding stations; the second sits shallower and longer. Up to eight shark species have been recorded here, alongside hundreds of reef fish, though sharks are wild animals and no sighting is promised. Bookings are capped at 20 divers so the water stays calm and controlled. You'll need an Open Water card and a logbook the crew can check.
Cancellation. Cancel 30 or more days ahead for a full refund less the FJ$500 deposit; inside 30 days no refund applies, and amendments carry a FJ$75 fee.
