Denarau Parasailing — 12 to 15 Minutes Above the Bay

You don't need to be brave for this one. You'll step off the back of a purpose-built parasailing boat, the winch lets the line out, and within seconds you're two hundred feet up looking down at Denarau, the reef and the Mamanucas strung out along the horizon. It's quiet up there. The flight lasts twelve to fifteen minutes, and you can go up on your own, as a pair, or three at a time — and because the tandem costs the same as flying solo, taking someone with you is the obvious move. Ask the crew and they'll dip your toes in the water before they wind you back in. Life jacket and harness are provided, there's a full safety briefing first, and pickup is available from most of the big Denarau resorts.
